April 15, 2010

MedCorp, The Direct Source for Ultrasound, announces its new branding campaign launched on April 15, 2010. The campaign incorporates a refreshed logo, a brand new website and a more focused tag line. While the logo (as seen above) provides a new look for MedCorp, the update does maintain brand integrity from its predecessor. "It was vital to us as a company to have the new logo be an update of our current one," said Managing Partner Chris Munyon. "The "Quad M's" of our logo really identifies us as a brand, so made sure we kept that in tact." Along with the logo, MedCorp's tagline was also updated to "The Direct Source for Ultrasound". Being a stocking dealer and boasting the most experienced and knowledgable staff in the industry, MedCorp truly embodies the tag line.

Delivering both the refreshed logo and the new tagline is MedCorp's all new website located at http://www.medcorpllc.com. Leveraging new technologies and a web 2.0 design sytle, the website delivers an easy navigation and a pleasing product to the visitors. The site focuses on what MedCorp customers want to see; information about ultrasound machines available, quick links to the reconditioning process and a detailed description on the MedCorp quality.

April 1, 2010

In what is being celebrated as a first time diagnosis in the United States (and fourth world-wide) by means of a prenatal MRI, doctors at the Packard Children's Hospital successfully diagnosed a rarely caught disorder, congenital chloride diarrhea or CCD. CCD can cause severe dehydration in newborns, so, armed with the knowledge of the baby's diagnosis, doctors were able to properly prepare and monitor the baby just after birth and have reported a successful outcome. Being able to diagnosis this disorder early is most important in being able to effectively combat it. Technology in Ultrasound Machines and other imaging equipment makes that possible.
