We’re proud to announce that we have successfully merged with a new company to expand our services in the ultrasound industry.
MedCorp, LLC has partnered with Probo Medical Inc. to become the industry’s largest ultrasound equipment reseller. Combined, we will continue to refurbish and resell ultrasound systems and now probes, with the same customer service and efficiencies you have come to expect.
MedCorp, LLC and the Bigger Picture
With this merger, MedCorp, LLC will increase our inventory to include additional ultrasound probes, repair experts, and technicians which will complement our already expansive ultrasound sales and repair departments.
Since 1999, we have been known as a full-service resource and one-stop shop for ultrasound systems, equipment and ongoing maintenance. As the nation’s industry sales leader in ultrasound systems and service , it’s been our goal for our clients, and the healthcare industry in general, to offer a more cohesive and cost-effective approach to medical device sales and services.
A Peek into Probo Medical’s Impressive History
Probo Medical is based in Fishers, Indiana and was established in 2014. They quickly became one of the country’s largest resellers of refurbished ultrasound equipment. With 55 employees and two probe repair facilities in Fishers and Tulsa, Oklahoma, Probo Medical offers comprehensive probe repair and resale for all 2D, 3D/4D and transesophageal ultrasound probes. Probo Medical is the largest probe-focused dealer in the world, stocking over 5,000 ultrasound probes, and listed in 2018’s Best Places to Work in Indiana.
A Partnership That’s Clear to See
These numbers, while clearly impressive, only added to the original draw of our desired partnership with Probo Medical Inc. Their mission is to deliver low-cost equipment and repair solutions around the globe. Furthermore, their commitment to value in the healthcare industry mimics our own, making them an ideal partner in expanding our services and offerings.
Combining our experience with Probo Medical’s will aid both companies in offering unmatched quality and quantity of work and products.
“We are excited about the union of these two great companies,” said David Trogden, the president of the combined companies. “MedCorp’s extensive ultrasound system experience, coupled with Probo Medical’s ultrasound probe focus, will create the unquestioned market leader in stocking ultrasound systems and probes.”
“This merger will result in one of the most experienced teams in our industry,” said Trogden. “We are in a dynamic environment and believe our united companies will be a platform for continued growth and expansion for years to come.”
MedCorp and Probo Medical will continue to operate under their current names, even after the merger. MedCorp partners Michael Asmer, Mike Dilick and Chris Munyon will remain officers of the combined businesses.
